Balkan Heights complex is brand new and situated in the Ivan Riliski area of the town. Being a little way up the mountainside means that you can enjoy elevated views from the swimming pool across the valley and over to the snow-peaked Rodolphe mountains in the distance. In the winter the town centre can become a bit smokey with all the real log fires burning so it is good to be slightly higher, overlooking the town and the smoke! It is a short walk to the centre of town. In the winter a shuttle bus takes skiers and snowboarders with their equipment to the gondola/ski-lift.
Balkan Heights 8 is on the ground floor and sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a double bed in the bedroom and a quality bed setee in the lounge. There are 2 patio doors to the terrace outside, one from the bedroom and one from the lounge. The view is onto the garden and both reception and the pool /spa centre are very close by.
Our modern apartment has been newly furnished to a very high standard from both IKEA and local Bulgarian suppliers. The kitchen is a fully modern IKEA kitchen with every appliance and gadget needed to make your holiday hassle free. We have remembered all the little things that can be annoying in some holiday apartments such as lack of coat hooks, mirrors, bottle-openers etc! You will also find a coffee machine and sandwich toaster. The fridge/freezer is full size so that one trip to the supermarket at the start of your holiday should do. Having said that, there are numerous shops around town and one next door for daily supplies.
The lounge is furnished with an IKEA bed setee which is large enough for 2 adults. There is also a flat-screen TV and DVD player sitting on top of a cabinet with sliding doors which is good storage space for clothing for guests using the bed-setee. There are plenty lamps and even wall-sconces with scented candles for you to create a homely relaxing atmosphere when you return after a busy day on the slopes.
The bedroom is furnished with wonderfully smelling solid wood furniture made locally. There is a large triple wardrobe with mirror and drawers, a chair and bedside cabinets with drawers and bedding for the bed setee can also be found there.
