The Attractions of Bourgas

Don’t worry about the run-down soviet style apartment blocks on the way into town, the centre is very pleasant with numerous street cafes and shops.
Hotel Bulgaria is on the main pedestrianised street and is an ideal landmark as it is so tall. There is a neon M-Tel sign on the top which helps if you are lost. Inside hotel Bulgaria there are nice toilets on the mezzanine level where the bar is situated. You would of course be expected to buy some drinks before you use their toilet however! The bar is roomy and quiet and furnished with leather sofas and therefore a good place to sit down with your shopping before heading back to
Hotel Luxor nearer to the harbour in Bourgas has a nice restaurant if you want your evening meal before you head home.
