Sunny Beach
Sunny Beach or Slanchiev Briag as it is known in Bulgaria is famous for its long and wide white sandy beach stretching over 7km. The sands gently shelve into the sea making it ideal for young families and watersports.

Nessebar
The ancient town of Nessebar is at the south end of the bay on a rocky outcrop and there you can wander the cobbled streets and step back in time. This is where you will find the best seafood restaurants in the area. Find out more about Nessebar here.
St Vlas
Set between the base of the Stara Planina mountains and the warm waters of the Black Sea, St Vlas is only a few km from its busier neighbour Sunny Beach on the northern part of the bay. Weather at the resort of Sunny Beach ranges between 19 – 30 degrees c in July.
A comfortable 30mins transfer time from Bourgas Airport means that you can hit the beach all the sooner.
Bourgas

Attractions
There are many attractions and excursions available which can be booked from specialist tour/trip offices along the main street in Sunny Beach or by speaking to the hotel/apartment reception. Reps from UK holiday companies such as First Choice can also be found in the foyer of the larger hotels and are happy to take reservation and sell tickets for their excursions. For example First Choice offer 17 different trips ranging from a day trip to Istanbul to off road adventures and boat trips.
You can experience a traditional Bulgarian evening in the foothills of the mountains that includes food, drink and a traditional folklore show.
Khans Tent is situated in an elevated position with panoramic views of Sunny Beach. Live music, dinner with drinks and an international cabaret floor show makes for an ideal night out for the whole family.
The Jeep Safari comes highly recommended and is a full day trip including food and refreshments. Stop by small villages and enjoy seeing everday life and customs.Try your hand at the Air Rifle range and say hello to Ostriches, Kangaroos and Peacocks en-route.
Shop and Splash offers you 3 hours in Bougas then a further 3 at the Aqua Park with all transport arranged.
In Sunny Beach itself you can find a large Aqua Park which is open every day from 1000-1900hrs. There is a free shuttle service running every 15 mins and picking up from the central square in St.Vlas and 13 other stops (one next door to Poseidon at the RIU Helena Resort) in downtown Sunny Beach.
There are bars and restaurants in the park and it is easy to spend all day here.
On the beach itself you can participate in all sorts of watersports, including Jet-Ski hire and Parascending.
